Individualized Attention Matters
We realize that no two people are alike. And, no two smiles are alike,
either. That's why we take plenty of time with our patients during their
very first visit, obtaining a thorough, objective understanding of everything
that affects their dental health. That includes a health history, complete
periodontal (gum condition) charting, a full set of x-rays, a 'video tour'
of the mouth via our intra-oral camera, a TMJ evaluation, oral cancer
screening, and a close review of any other concerns with the tissues and
bones of the jaw.
Armed with this information, we work together with each patient to assemble
the most optimal individualized treatment plan for obtaining the level
of oral health and appearance they desire. The resulting recommendation
may include preventive, restorative, or cosmetic procedures, all of which
are outlined below.
Preventive Care
As with many aspects of general health, prevention of dental disease
and tooth decay is a tremendously worthwhile investment. Yet, because
the human mouth is constantly bombarded with a high level of plaque-producing
bacteria, 'prevention' in dentistry must involve a constant offensive
effort. That's why we're so adamant about meticulous 'continuous care',
including a combination of our professional hygiene efforts and your own
home hygiene routine. Our preventive services include:
- Continuous Care, including:
- Thorough Hygiene Program
- Regular Check-Ups
- Periodontal Therapy
- Dental Sealants (Children & Adults)
- One-on-One Patient Education
- Nightguards for Bruxism, TMJ, & Restorative Protection
- Athletic Mouthguards
- BreathRx Breath Treatment Program
Restorative Care
It's no secret that life can be tough on teeth. Age, accidents, stress,
lifestyle/food choices, and even heredity can all damage your dentition
in various ways. But fortunately, due to Dr. Britt's expertise and training,
we can correct any variety of problems and restore your smile to beautiful,
functional health. Thanks to today's technology, restorative care is
often quite simple. For example, we offer the revolutionary one-hour,
in-office
whitening treatment known as the ZOOM® treatment
lightening
and brightening up your smile as much as 8 shades for the in-office
procedure,
or about 6 shades using the new three-night at-home Weekender Kit. For
information about how any of the following restorative procedures might
benefit you, just ask:
- Tooth-Colored Composites or Resins (Fillings)
- Porcelain Veneers/Laminates
- One-Hour In-Office ZOOM® Whitening
- ZOOM® 3-Day Weekender Whitening Kit
- All-Ceramic Crowns, Onlays, & Inlays
- Bridges
- Dentures & Partial Dentures
- Dental Implant Restoration & Maintenance
- Bonding
Gum Care
Believe it or not, about 80% of the general population has a significant
level of chronic, undiagnosed gum disease. In fact, gingivitis and even
more advanced forms of gum disease often go unnoticed, because they're
relatively painless and symptom-free until reaching a truly severe stage.
That's why we insist upon a thorough gum condition charting at every first
appointment, and then vigilantly evaluate your gums every time we see
you. Plus, we offer a number of in-office, non-surgical treatments for
those cases where gum disease is present. Our Gum Care Services include:
- Charting & Diagnostic Services
- Non-Surgical In-Office Therapy
Cosmetic Enhancement
More and more people are discovering the life-changing differences
that cosmetic dentistry can make in their appearance. Because in
reality, very few people are fortunate enough to have naturally
balanced, bright, attractive smiles. Instead, people often unconsciously
hide their smiles, not using them to their fullest and not aware
of how a few simple changes might change their outlook-and their
looks-for good! That's where our personalized smile analysis and
smile design can help. Whether it's a little reshaping, straightening,
lightening, gum re-contouring, or even total mouth restorative work
we're
equipped to help you achieve a beautiful, and functional smile.
Just ask us about how any of the following procedures might bring
out the best in your smile.
- Tooth-Colored Composites or Resins (Fillings)
- Porcelain Veneers
- One-Hour In-Office ZOOM® Whitening
- ZOOM® 3-Day 'Weekender' Whitening Kit
- All-Porcelain Crowns, Onlays, & Inlays
- Total Restorative
- Gum Tissue Recontouring
- Invisalign invisible braces
