Elizabeth’s Story:
When Elizabeth and her husband, Lt. Col. Wayne Fowler, moved to St. Simons Island ten years ago, it was only four short months later when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. “We were blessed to get three and a-half more years together.” A little over two years ago, Elizabeth decided it was time to “get back into the world,” becoming involved with non-profit causes, learning to meditate, learning Italian and getting back to working on herself.
